Hi, I’m Matt, a photographer with more than 20 years of experience. Maternity photography is one of the core areas of my work, and I value the opportunity to help clients remember this meaningful stage in their lives.
Before your session, I take time to understand your goals and preferences. We discuss the photographs you have in mind, who you would like to include, and the location and visual choices that feel right to you.
During the session, I provide photography guidance and direction while handling lighting, composition, and camera settings. My approach is calm and professional, so you can take part in the creative choices without needing to manage the technical details.
Professionalism, reliability, thoughtful planning, and quality guide my work. I carefully review and select the strongest images, then edit the selected photographs individually, carrying that attention to quality through to the finished work.

We’ll begin with your goals and preferences: how you want the photographs to feel, what you would like to remember, and who you want to include. Your input helps shape the session.
Planning Location and Visual Choices
We’ll choose a location around your preferences, comfort, and the look you want. Home settings can feel personal, indoor studio or studio-style settings offer more control over lighting and distractions, and outdoor settings can bring Edmonton scenery and natural light into your photographs. We’ll discuss options and availability before deciding.
Solo Maternity Portraits
Solo portraits give you space to mark this stage in your own way. We’ll use the goals and preferences we’ve discussed to guide the look and feel of your maternity photographs.
Couple and Family Portraits
Your session can also include couple portraits and family portraits. Let me know who will be participating so we can plan photographs that reflect those relationships.
Careful Editing
I carefully review and select the strongest images, then edit the selected photographs individually. Quality control continues through the editing stage, with attention to the details of each image.
Your Finished Photographs
Digital files are included. Most galleries are delivered within 2–3 weeks, depending on project size. Archival-quality prints and custom albums are available on request as additional options; they are not included in the session price.
