Hi, I’m Matt, a photographer with more than 20 years of experience. Graduation photography is one of the services I offer to clients in Edmonton and surrounding communities. I bring a professional, reliable approach to a session that marks an important step in your life.
Before we photograph, I take time to understand what you want. We’ll discuss who will participate, the kinds of portraits you’re considering, scheduling, location, and any visual preferences or meaningful details you would like considered.
During the session, I provide photographic direction and handle lighting, composition, and camera settings. You don’t need to know how to pose or arrange everyone yourself; I’ll guide the photographs with the goals we’ve discussed in mind.
Planning and quality matter throughout the process. After the session, I carefully review the photographs, select the strongest images, and individually edit the selections, continuing that attention to quality through the finished work.

We’ll discuss your goals, visual preferences, who will participate, and the types of portraits you want. Share any meaningful details you would like considered so they can inform the planning.
Choosing a Location
Options can include home or indoor settings where appropriate, studio or studio-style settings where available, and outdoor locations around Edmonton. We’ll consider your preferences, comfort, accessibility, the look you want, and outdoor weather. Any specific location needs to be discussed and confirmed.
Guidance During the Session
I provide photographic direction and take care of lighting, composition, and camera settings. You can focus on participating while I guide the portraits and help arrange the people included, working from the plan we’ve discussed.
Selecting the Strongest Images
I carefully review the photographs and select the strongest images, considering the portraits and visual preferences we discussed. This is the first step in preparing the finished photographs.
Individual Editing and Quality
The selected photographs are individually hand edited. Attention to quality continues through editing, with care for the details of each image as well as how the collection works together.
Your Finished Photographs
Digital files are included. Most galleries are delivered within 2–3 weeks, depending on project size; this is a general timeframe, not a guaranteed deadline. Archival-quality prints and custom albums are available on request as additional options, not included in the session’s starting price.
